Smoothie Bowls are all over Pinterest and Instagram lately as the newest health craze. At first I was skeptical because I didn’t really get what makes this so much better than a smoothie. So finally I tried it and a let me tell you, I’am 100% on board the smoothie bowl train now. Not only is it visually beautiful, but it is also good for you and tastes AMAZING. Jam packed with antioxidants and vitamins this will keep you full all morning. Give it a try! Trust me, you will not regret it.
Green Smoothie Bowl: Makes 2 servings
1 cup of spinach
1 Avocado
1 Papaya
1 Kiwi
2 Bananas
2 Tsp of unsweetened coconut flakes
2 Tsp of Pomegranate seeds
2 Tsp of chia seads
2 Tsp shaved almonds
1 Tbsp of Collagen Powder
Almond Milk ( by taste depending on how thick or thin your want your bowl to be)
How To:
Step 1: Blend together spinach, papaya, avocado, 1 banana, collagen powder and almond milk in a blender
Step 2: Pour into bowl
Step 3 : Garnish with coconut, chia , pomegranate, Banana, kiwi and almonds
Step 4: ENJOY! Its that easy.
TIP: freeze your fruit and veggies the night before so that your smoothie has more of a cold fro yo texture.
