Black Swan

I had the pleasure of attending the Mt Mary University annual student fashion show last week. Getting to see the young and growing fashion design talent here in the Midwest is always such a joy! ( Blog post showcasing some of the shows looks coming soon) As I was getting ready for this show I felt conflicted. While the maxi tutu, low plunge bodysuit and lace up ballerina flats is reminiscent of a pretty ballerina, I still needed to add the edge that we all know I love. Pairing it with some layered necklaces, a leather jacket and some statement shades really pulled this look together. Pairing the unexpected sometimes leads to best outfits! Take fashion risks and let your personality shine thru your wardrobe!
