Closet Reveal and how you can get a dream closet for under $100

I have to admit, I have a lot of clothes. I guess it comes with the territory of being a blogger and social media influencer and finding room in my ever growing closet for these clothes was a struggle. Now keep in mind I go thru my closet once a month to cycle out pieces I don’t wear and donate them but still it was time to expand my closet. I wanted a closet that felt like I was going shopping every morning when I was getting ready. So I decided the only way to achieve this was to convert a spare bedroom into this dream room.

I did some research and by research I hit the Pinterest boards hard to find my inspiration for this room makeover. Everything seemed really expensive, time consuming and handy ( let’s face it I am NOT handy). After coming to terms that this closet goal might not be on my budget just yet, my dad came to the rescue! He told me to go to Menards with him and so I went, in leather pants, thought high boots and a fur coat to a hardware store. Trust me I stuck out like a sore thumb BUT to my surprise, my dad and I were able to get everything we needed to construct the hanging clothes portion of the closet for $50! You read that right ladies.

Here is what we got.

10 Brackets

2 48″-72″ adjustable closet rods

1 30″-48″ adjustable closet rod

We decided to do one wall two levels for tops and bottoms and then the other wall just one rod for dresses. These were super easy to install and only took about an Hr to put up!

Then I had to figure out some cute storage for shoes and purses. I found these white shelving units from Target for $20 on sale!

Add in some accessories and my closet was converted for just under $100!
