Recently I went on a journey to find my Happy Place, literally! Last weekend I made the trek down to Chicago with my Blogger BFF Katherine Clemins of @katherine.clemins…….. GO FOLLOW HER NOW…….. Ill WAIT.
So Happy place in Chicago is an interactive experience and an instagrammers heaven! But being there made me think that being in a happy place shouldn’t just be a day trip ( even though you still totally should go visit it, since it is only in Chicago till Sept). It should be a mindset that we always follow. In life we are always on the go, busy with everything imaginable, so we need to take the time to have some little things in our day that help us ensure that we are in a constant state of Happy Place. What are mine?
- Drinking enough water
- Taking the time to put down the screens and engage with people (still a work in progress on that)
- Eating healthy
- Reading for fun and for personal growth
- Spending one night at home and not do ANYTHING work related
- Studying and researching anything fashion
- Bubble baths
My challenge to you this week is to make your list of what you need in life to prevent a burn out and to be in your happy place!
