4 ways to style my favorite wardrobe staple: the leather jacket

One piece in my wardrobe that I can’t live without has to be my leather jackets! They are warm, versatile, and add a slight bad ass edge to anything you pair it with. While my weekend go to look has been a leather jacket, hoodie, a vintage band tee, leggings and boots. There are a million ways to rock this style staple! I’ve rounded up my 4 fave ways to style mine:)

My weekend uniform: hoodie, leggings, boots, scarf and leather jacket

Look 1: The Jeans and tee

The classic jeans and a tee are a favorite look for many. And while it is simple you can easily dress it up from looking sloppy to looking polished. Here I paired my skinny jeans and tank with a grey leather jacket and caged booties. This look is perfect for brunch with the girls or just being your go to girl on the go look.

Look 2: The dressed down dress

There is just something about a draped jacket over your shoulders. It gives any look an instantly polished and chic vibe. Here I paired the draped jacket look with a floral midi dress, dad sneakers and a fanny pack to give the perfect combination of feminine and athleisure.

Look 3: The Pop of Color

While black is a classic, adding a pop of color with your leather jacket is always a great way to add some fun to your look! You can go monochromatic like I did in the above look or have fun mixing it up with other colors and patterns to create a look all your own that is guaranteed to turn heads.

Look 4: The Statement Maker

I love to make a statement with my wardrobe! And what better way to do that than with my favorite piece! My leather jacket goes perfectly over a sleek bodysuit. I love a good bodysuit, they are comfy, chic and hug your curves in all the right places. Then I added a leopard wrap skirt, cage booties and the perfect belt bag. Perfect for a date night.
