Is snake print the new leopard?

On my recent shopping trips, it seemed like everywhere I turned there were new adorable pieces of the IT pattern of the season…..SNAKE PRINT. Look out leopard print, this is the go-to animal print of 2019! But is this print really as much of a wardrobe staple as the iconic leopard print? Or is it just a fad that will quickly fade?

I think that this trend is going to be sticking around for the long haul. While it will never replace leopard in my personal opinion. I believe that this pattern, much like leopard, can be treated as a neutral. While leopard is usually perfect in more of a warmer color palette, I find that most the snake print takes on that roll in the cooler color schemes.(this all depends on the color of the actual piece)

While like I said above, I believe that this pattern can be styled as a neutral. I have noticed that I have been styling it with all neutral colors. And adding some wardrobe staples: Leather, a hat and booties.
