NYFW outfit recap with Eloquii

Ever since I was a little girl I have dreamt of going to New York Fashion Week. Getting to see the latest trends, the street style, meeting some amazing people and all while being in the hustle and bustle of the big apple. While I have been to NYC many times I have never been able to go to NYFW or was invited for that matter. Until this year! I was invited to shows, presentations, and events all week long. Which means I needed some fab outfits. Thanks to my friends at Eloquii I was able to look amazing all week long. I will be doing more outfit posts from the week but I have rounded up my 4 Eloquii looks that are still available for you to shop online!

Day 1: When I saw these floral pieces being worn as separates on the website I knew this was my perfect chance to go big with a bold patterned suit. This looks is super comfy as well as flattering. Plus adding a leather crop bustier gives it just enough sex appeal and edge.

Day 2: I went a little more classic in a bordeaux ruffle skirt and a white denim bell sleeve top that buttoned up the back. Paired it with a great lion necklace c/o Kendra Scott, a Henri Bendel  handbag and faux fur heels from Who What Wear for Target made the perfect outfit!

Day 3 I kept it pretty casual in a sweatshirt dress with sleeve cut outs and paired it with suede over the knee boots, a top knot and a statement bag Express and necklace from Baublebar!

Day 4: My last Eloquii New York Fashion Week outfit was this amazing printed high neck shirt dress! Super comfy, the fit was amazing and the material is seriously so soft! This dress was perfect for the rooftop after party for the Tracy Reese presentation.

Pajama Rama

When I first saw this pajama trend, I admit, I was skeptical. I knew I wanted to try it out but I also knew that there was a definite fine line between chic and rolled out of bed vibes to this look. Then the Victoria Beckham line preview came out at Target and there it was. This amazing pajama suit with these gorgeous lillies on it. I instantly knew this was meant for me.

The day finally arrived and where the collection launched and I was in Las Vegas drinking bottomless mimosas, ordering practically the entire line but making sure that I got multiple sizes of this suit! I was so nervous that the fit would be off and then it would be sold out when I returned it. And I’m so glad I did! The top fits true to size but I had to go up 2 sizes in the pants due to the fit of these. Plus the whole suit was under $80!!!

Now I wear this Look whenever I want to look ultra chic. Or I wear them as separates for so many different looks! The versatility is endless.

Here I paired it with satin mules and a bracelet bag for an all around fabulous look.

The perfect foundation

One of the keys to having a great outfit is having solid foundation pieces underneath the outfit. The right bras, panties or shape wear can make out break a look. How many times do you see a cute outfit but can tell that the bra doesn’t fit right or just creates that awful back roll because the band rolls?!?!! I see this so many times and let me tell you some amazing news. You don’t have to suffer from that anymore, thanks to Soma! I’ve partnered with Soma Intimates to showcase the new vanishing back bra.

This bra comes in 3 different styles wireless, front closure and full coverage. They come in so many adorable colors and a wide range of sizes. This bra has been my saving grace for many outfits because of its wide back smoothing panels to eliminate that dreaded back fat.

Make sure you check it out and get yours today so that you have the perfect foundation to all of your outfits:)

2. Coral: Front closure

Flowers for Dreams

Flowers for Dreams has come to Milwaukee and I couldn’t be more excited! Flowers for Dreams has been a staple floral delivery service in Chicago for the past few years and they are expanding their market to the Milwaukee area. What is so great about this amazing company is that all the flowers are locally crafted, they wrap the flowers in recyclable cloth, the vases are all made of reclaimed materials, the delivery is free and the bouquets are only $35! But the best part about them is that a part of every bouquet sales goes to support a local charity right here in the Milwaukee! How awesome is that!

Last week I was invited to attend an event thrown by Flowers for Dreams for Milwaukee Influencers to learn about the company and connect with the CEO. The passion behind this company is so inspiring and the bouquets they have are simply stunning. I cannot wait to send these flowers to everyone I know! 🙂

Hair makeover with Roots Salon

I have to admit, I have let my hair take a backseat priority recently. Which is not ok! But we have all been there, life just gets in the way sometimes and we don’t have time for pampering ourselves. When I let my hair go it get BAD, since I’m a natural blonde, my roots end up looking like grey hair and the ombre turned brassy. So when Roots Salon opened their new salon in Oak Creek in the Drexel Towne Square, I knew I had to run over there and get my hair back in check.

So when I first arrived at the salon, the girl at the front desk was so friendly, and gave me a tour of the full salon. She offered me something to drink while I browsed some of the top of the line hair care and makeup products for they have for sale. Then it was Autumn to the rescue! She was amazing, I showed her my inspiration pics of a bronde color ( a brown blonde). And she gave me realistic expectations. She was so friendly, funny and made the whole experience fun!

The results are amazing! The ombre is blended so perfectly, the color is stunning and I love my hair again! Thanks to Autumn and Roots salon for sponsoring my hair change and for helping me to find a new salon home that I will be going to for many times to come.

Unique pieces

I love having unique pieces in my wardrobe as well as giving them as gifts. Something that stands out and makes a statement. Well this whole outfit is full of unique details. These lace illusion leggings are stunning and super sexy without showing too much. Paired with a tuxedo jacket and some sassy accessories makes the perfect look. To complete this outfit I added some bracelets and a necklace from Little Blueberryy! Not only can you shop their stamped jewelry but you can also get a custom piece ( like my “blogger bitch”one) They are perfect for a gift or to add to your wardrobe:)

Spring time trend: Floral featuring Torrid

Spring is officially here, which means one thing: patio day drinking is right around the corner! Lol sorry, sometimes the Wisconsin girl  in me comes out pretty strong. Moving right along, spring also means it is time to break in my new spring wardrobe pieces from Torrid! This looks is perfect to go from the office to happy hour with the crew. The floral culottes are chic, comfortable and freaking adorable. Pair it with a navy tank, blazer and some nude suede booties makes it a great look to transition into spring perfectly.
